Lot and label captured

Terpene reads Canadian label data, saves it locally, and backs up authenticated session records with Supabase sync.

2.5 mg

Health Canada's recommended starting point for THC, shown as context, not as your personal range.

19+ Canada

Designed for adult Canadian users who already have legal products and want better records.

0 ads

No menus, no deals, no product promotion. Terpene is built for personal understanding.

Response trend

See when a product stops fitting.

Tolerance, mood, or sourcing — something always shifts. Response Check plots the subjective ratings you've recorded against a weighted regression so a drift you'd miss session-by-session shows up the moment you open the lot.

Inputs
Your subjective rating (1–10) after each session you log against this lot.
Surface
Trajectory chart, weighted regression, plain-language trend label.
Threshold
Trend appears at 5+ sessions; declining flag at ≥0.5 pts/session slope.

Mood patterns

Map response across mood states.

A radar of how your last 30 days have actually felt — by axis, not by claim. Mood Patterns links the terpene profiles you logged with the moods you recorded so you can see which compounds sit beside which feelings, in your own data.

Axes
Relaxed · Focused · Creative · Euphoric · Sleepy. Five mood tags from your follow-ups.
Pairing
Dominant terpene and dominant mood are pulled from sessions, never inferred.
Window
Rolling 30 days; minimum 5 follow-ups completed before the radar fills.

Personal summary

Turn logged sessions into findings.

A field-notes write-up of your last month, formatted like a small paper. Primary and supporting findings are drawn from co-occurrence in your own log — terpene tags that consistently show up beside particular moods or rating directions, with the correlation reported plainly.

Form
Primary finding plus supporting findings, each with sample size and Pearson r.
Tone
Descriptive, not predictive. No compound claims, no medical language.
Honesty
"Too few sessions" badge appears whenever n is below the reporting threshold.

Session workflow

Fast logging, useful follow-up, earned insight.

Terpene is shaped around the moments a user actually has: before a session, during a quick log, and later when the effect is easier to describe accurately.

01

Scan the label

Use native iOS scanning to capture Canadian cannabis label details, including THC, CBD, and lot information.

02

Log the dose

Confirm format, method, serving, puff count, or duration. Terpene translates the session into clear milligram context.

03

Rate the result

Method-aware follow-up helps you capture mood, intensity, relief, and side effects after the session has developed.

04

Read your patterns

Over time, see which lots, formats, terpene profiles, and dose ranges align with your own recorded experience.

Personal range

A calmer way to understand THC and CBD.

Your range is not a public score or a rule. It is a personal reference point that stays attached to each session log.

Range states

Green means within range, amber means approaching range, red means above range. Labels reinforce every state, so color is never the only signal.

Within Approaching Above
01

Voice-first logging

On-device speech recognition and local intent parsing can fill session details from natural notes without sending audio away.

02

Lot-level tracking

Keep purchase-level context for format, lot number, THC, CBD, and product details so patterns stay tied to what you actually used.

03

Terpene profile insights

Tag terpene profiles and review frequency patterns against your own mood and session ratings, without making compound claims.

04

Weekly summaries

Native charts surface dose totals, ratings, and recurring signals with the restraint of a health tracker.

05

Local records, Supabase backup

Your session history is stored on device first, then backed up and synced through Supabase when you are signed in.

Private by posture

Built to feel safe opening anywhere.

The interface avoids recreational cannabis styling because this is personal health-adjacent data. Calm surfaces, measured copy, and local-first storage with secure sync are part of the product.

On-device speech Speech recognition requires on-device processing. Audio never leaves the device.
Biometric gate Face ID or Touch ID protects cold launches for users who want a more private app entry.
Adult flow Date of birth is checked for the 19+ age gate and is not stored.
Different by design

Not a marketplace. Not a strain popularity contest.

Terpene does not help you shop. It helps you interpret your own records after you have chosen a legal product.

Typical cannabis apps

  • Menus, deals, and product discovery.
  • Community ratings that flatten individual response.
  • Recreational visual language that can feel loud in public.
  • Generic strain descriptions with little personal context.

Terpene

  • Your session history, dose, method, and follow-up ratings.
  • Your range stored with each log for historical context.
  • A quiet utility interface inspired by health tracking.
  • Patterns based on your own lots, formats, and terpene tags.

Privacy policy

How Terpene handles your information.

Terpene is operated by Stoic Seneca. This policy describes what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is stored — in plain language, in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Effective date: May 2026  ·  Applies to: terpene.ca and the Terpene iOS app

01

What we collect and why

Email address. Collected when you submit the early access form on this landing page. Used solely to notify you when Terpene launches and, if you consent, to send occasional product updates. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties.

Session data (in-app only). When you use the Terpene iOS app, your session logs — including dose, product lot details, terpene tags, and mood ratings — are stored locally on your device first. If you create an account and enable sync, this data is backed up to Supabase, a third-party database provider operating under industry-standard security practices. Your session data is never used for advertising, never shared with cannabis retailers or brands, and never sold.

Age gate. A date of birth is checked at first launch to verify you are 19 or older. This value is not stored after verification.

Analytics. This landing page uses Netlify Analytics, which collects anonymized page visit counts without cookies or personal identifiers.

02

How we store and protect it

Email addresses submitted through this page are stored in Mailchimp, a third-party email marketing platform. Mailchimp processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy and maintains industry-standard security controls.

In-app session data is stored on your device using Apple's local storage infrastructure. Synced data is stored in Supabase using encrypted connections (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest). Stoic Seneca does not have direct access to your raw session logs unless you explicitly share them.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

03

Your rights under PIPEDA

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to that information, and withdraw consent for its use at any time — subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

To access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to unsubscribe from our email list, contact us at privacy@terpene.ca. We will respond within 30 days. If you unsubscribe from email communications, your address will be removed from our active list promptly.

You may also unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email we send.

04

Third-party services

Terpene uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC) — email list management
  • Supabase — database and authentication for in-app sync
  • Netlify — landing page hosting and anonymized analytics
  • Apple — on-device storage, Face ID / Touch ID, and App Store distribution

We do not integrate with advertising networks, data brokers, or cannabis retail platforms.

05

Changes to this policy
